Winner of the Gold Medal at the Caseus Veneti for two years in a row! A semi-matured organic goat’s milk cheese coated with Sicilian thyme leaves to create an elegant flavour with a strong Mediterranean character. The flavours of fresh, zesty goat’s milk marry perfectly with the herbaceous thyme. Located in Veneto, Northern Italy, the Perenzin family have been hand-making traditional cheeses for five generations, using milk sourced from local dairies in the Veneto region and from the National Park of Belluno in the Dolomites.
Ideal for using in baked dishes like vegetables gratins. It can also be served on antipasti platters and is a great picnic cheese to enjoy with olives and cured meats. Pair with a well-structured white wine such as Catarratto or Greco di Tufo.

Over time the cheese develops a sharp sweet/savoury bite, a deep golden colour and firm, crumbly texture. Ideal for anyone who likes a full-flavoured pecorino with some bite – but not too salty. A great choice for antipasti platters or shaving into salads and onto woodfired pizza. From artisan cheese-makers and affineurs Casa Madaio.

Brebirousse 935g square (whole wheel)
This delightfully oozy cheese is a mild washed rind style made with 100% sheep’s milk from the Argental region of France (most famously known for Roquefort cheese). When young, the flavours are creamy and slightly sweet, with a hint of mushroomy flavour coming from the light orange rind and a gentle nuttiness characteristic of sheep cheese. More mature cheeses will have a stronger flavour, with more pronounced earthy flavours.

Cremoso di Bufala Rosso di Casa Madaio
We source this cheese directly from a farmhouse buffalo dairy we found on our travels in Northern Italy – they make cheese each day with milk from their own herd. Rosso is a bit like a buffalo milk version of Taleggio – a pungent, savoury rind on the outside and a creamy, semi-firm texture inside with a beautiful sweet finish thanks to the rich buffalo milk – delicious on cheese or antipasto platters and paired with a glass of Pinot Grigio or Pinot Noir.

Montasio Stravecchio Dop
Montasio is the most famous mountain cheese from the north-eastern Italian region of Friuli. We select only very mature wheels (around 3 years old) as the extended aging leads to the development of a subtle, savoury bite perfectly balanced with notes of cream and tropical fruit on the finish – especially pineapple. Montasio is a very popular cheese that works well with pre-dinner drinks, cheese boards and antipasto platters.
