Agricola Naturalmente Retro Dolcetto Biologico, Piemomte Italy 750ml
Dolcetto wines are known for cherry and licorice with some prune flavours and a slight bitter finish reminiscent of almonds. While the name implies sweetness, the wines are normally dry. The dark purple skin of Dolcetto grapes have high amounts of anthocyanins, which require only a short maceration time with the grape skin to produce a dark coloured wine. The amount of skin to contact affects the resulting tannin levels in the wine, with most winemakers preferring to limit the maceration time to as short as possible.
This winery has obtained a certification for biodynamic production and offers a wine that represents the energy and characteristics of the specific “terroir”

Domiane de Coyuex Muscat, Rhone Valley, France 375ml
Since 1943, only are entitled to the appellation contrôlée «Muscat of Beaumes-de-Venise», the wines coming from the white and black grape variety “Muscat à petits grains”, harvested on a limited territory of the communes of Beaumes-de-Venise and Aubignan.
The respect of the conditions of production (mode of size, yield, natural wealth of sugar and musts, …) makes this wine remarkable. At the foot of the massif des Lace of Montmirail, the Vignerons de Beaumes-de-Venise are the only ones to cultivate this grape in the Rhône Valley.
