In Piedmontese, Bogia Nen means that it does not move and refers to the passive temperament, but also to the stubbornness, of the inhabitants of the region.
Golden, slightly cloudy, it is a Saison with an original Piedmontese character: all the raw materials are grown and processed without ever moving outside the region. Spicy aromas stand out, while on the palate it wins over for its pungent, dry and thirst-quenching aroma. The body is medium and the foam persistent.
Pair it with vegetable dishes, grilled fish or summer salads.

We think Braida makes the best Brachetto in the world. It is a highly aromatic sweet wine, which
is most often produced in the Charmat method (fermentation in a pressurized tank to create
bubbles). Braida’s Brachetto is soft, fruity, and a beautiful deep rose colour. It smells intensely
floral and slightly musky, with plenty of ripe red strawberry and raspberry on the palate. It is not
cloying, and has a fantastic refreshing finish. This is the best wine to match with chocolate.
Gavi is a classification of wine made from the Cortese grape variety. It produces aromatic wines
with bright acidity which match incredibly well with seafood. Gavi’s location is quite proximate to
the sea, although it’s separated by the Ligurian Alps.
Gianlorenzo Picollo oversees the small estate with his wife Silvia, and together they manage the
winery with Gianlorenzo’s parents. Fifteen hectares of Cortese vineyards with vines up to 80 years
old are cultivated by traditional methods, and without the use of chemicals.
One of the most recognised estates in Bandol, thanks largely to US wine merchant Kermit Lynch, who’s sung its praises since the 70s. Lulu Peyraud, who ran the estate with her the late husband Lucien from the 30s, is still gong strong at 103. Incredible. The rosé is a blend of approximately 55% mourvèdre, 25% grenache and 20% cinsault.
“The Bandol Tempier Rosé offers a unique blend of complexity and freshness. It has a fine structure, with no tannin. The high-quality care given to the vines and the diversity of the terroirs produce a flavorful intensity and a strong typicity.”Winemaker’s notes.

Raboso Piave is the finest indigenous vine of the Treviso district, one of the few native varieties of Veneto to survive the invasion of phylloxera that destroyed Europe’s viticulture in the late 1800s. The wine it produces has a dry, austere taste, fairly hard and sharp. It is aged in casks that blend and heighten the fragrances and flavours of the vine with the pleasant tones of oak. Ready to be drunk from its third year, this wine can be aged for several years. It is ideal served with spit-roasted and white meats, game, roasts and ripe cheeses.

‘The 2017 Uccelliera Rosso di Montalcino is a simply fantastic release. Displaying wonderful class and refinement, this opens to inviting aromas of sweet red berries, dried cherries, leather, dried herbs and spices all developing in the glass. This medium-bodied red is beautifully structured around silky tannins and possesses lovely inner-depth along with a round inviting texture through the finish. This is already showing remarkably well and could offer a decade long drinking window. An absolutely fabulous Rosso in this vintage.” 92 Points, International Wine Report

Vin Santo (pronounced Vin san-toh), which means “holy wine”, has various theories surrounding its origins. One of the most famous stories tells of a Franciscan monk, who would use it to celebrate Holy Mass. Later, it was more-commonly known for its “holy” or curative power regarding the treatment of ailments. Golden amber colour with rich, luminous reflections. Intense and complex bouquet; perfumed with scents of raisins combined with aromas of apricots, figs, dried fruit, wood, and honey fused with aromatic notes of a great personality. Full and warm palate with a velvety texture, sweet delicate notes and an extraordinary finish.
Since 1943, only are entitled to the appellation contrôlée «Muscat of Beaumes-de-Venise», the wines coming from the white and black grape variety “Muscat à petits grains”, harvested on a limited territory of the communes of Beaumes-de-Venise and Aubignan.
The respect of the conditions of production (mode of size, yield, natural wealth of sugar and musts, …) makes this wine remarkable. At the foot of the massif des Lace of Montmirail, the Vignerons de Beaumes-de-Venise are the only ones to cultivate this grape in the Rhône Valley.
