Product Information
Raboso Piave is the finest indigenous vine of the Treviso district, one of the few native varieties of Veneto to survive the invasion of phylloxera that destroyed Europe’s viticulture in the late 1800s. The wine it produces has a dry, austere taste, fairly hard and sharp. It is aged in casks that blend and heighten the fragrances and flavours of the vine with the pleasant tones of oak. Ready to be drunk from its third year, this wine can be aged for several years. It is ideal served with spit-roasted and white meats, game, roasts and ripe cheeses.

Agricola Naturalmente Retro Dolcetto Biologico, Piemonte Italy 750ml
Dolcetto wines are known for cherry and licorice with some prune flavours and a slight bitter finish reminiscent of almonds. While the name implies sweetness, the wines are normally dry. The dark purple skin of Dolcetto grapes have high amounts of anthocyanins, which require only a short maceration time with the grape skin to produce a dark coloured wine. The amount of skin to contact affects the resulting tannin levels in the wine, with most winemakers preferring to limit the maceration time to as short as possible.
This winery has obtained a certification for biodynamic production and offers a wine that represents the energy and characteristics of the specific “terroir”
