Casa Marrazzo San Marzano Peeled Tomatoes dell’Agro Sarnese-Nocerino-DOP 500g
The San Marzano tomatoes from “Casa Marrazzo” are grown in the regions around Naples and Salerno, on farms where the entire supply chain from seed to harvest is controlled. Unlike other tomatoes it is “impaled” to allow the vertical growth of the plant and to ensure that the fruit does not touch the ground and maintains its unique elongated shape and aroma. They are collected by hand, placed in crates and carefully selected when they arrive at the farm before beeing peeled by expert hands. The San Marzano tomatoes have a typical deep red colour, an elongated shape, a reduced quantity of seeds and a balanced sweet flavour.
