Coulommiers is a member of the Brie family. It has a flavoursome, yeasty rind that has a light aroma of straw and hay. The flavour is rich and full – creamy but also a slightly savoury hint of mushrooms and just a touch of salt. The texture is soft and bulging when ripe.
