Bar Staff

We are currently searching for an experienced bar assistant to join our busy team. It is a FULL TIME position, 5 day week including weekends with both morning and evening shifts. The right applicant will have a good command of the English language, both written and spoken. They will be very conscientious with excellent time keeping. Applicants must be fit and energetic with lots of common sense and a willingness to work as part of a team, along with a keen interest in food and wine. Barista experience essential. A minimum duration of employment required is 18 months.

Cheese Sales

We have a position available for a FULL TIME Cheese Assistant. This position would suit someone who perhaps already works with cheese and would like to learn more about specialist cheeses or alternatively if you are very interested in pursuing a change of career and are looking for a long term challenge – training in cheese – then this could be for you.

There are a few things you should consider.

The job involves lifting and working in a cold environment sometimes. The right applicant will be physically fit and willing to work in this environment. You will also be on your feet for most of the day with a varied but packed schedule of required elements to maintain the cheeses in good condition. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Australian and European farmhouse cheese however the willingness to learn, taste and absorb from an enthusiastic team is vital. This is good opportunity for someone wanting to learn new and valuable skills, as well as seeing firsthand how a small, independent, growing business runs, together with the wholesale and retail sales areas.

This is a long-term appointment with a minimum commitment of at least 18 months. Full time 5 day week including weekends which are very busy. A competitive salary will be offered to the successful applicant
